Is d-Con mouse bait have an expiration date once opened?
I was told by an exterminator that Con-mouse bait to stop killing mice approximately 15 days after opening the package / container. I find it hard to believe because the boxes are not sealed. I could not find the answer on the website D-cons.
D-Con or other bait that will last more than 15 days, provided it is not infect ed with pesticides or cleaning products and as long as it remains dry. when you put the bait you use the mouse sabotage baiters evidence. This protects the bait and keep it fresh. It also helps prevent children and animals to get to the bait. Be careful when using a pellet type bait for mice. Mice can carry and drop the bait in areas you do not want the bait will be introduced, as in the toy boxes or pets. It is best to use bait blocks inside bait. Mice have a hard time trying to carry a pack of bait around, so it is safer to use as bait.
