What is the best lure for Bass Fishing in the fall?
What is the best bait for bass use in the fall? What size and color and how fast should it be used.and What pike and muskie?
I still think and still use my Canadian robot night with a pan, preferably Chartreuse and orange beads. I fished for 47 years and have lost my money on all types of crank baits, spoons, plastic, etc.. and I always took the fish with my robots Night Live at any time of year. I let long and pendulous, with a float Chartreuse and I flip the cap to attract the attention of fish. I bite after bite and landed a low £ 10. I caught the pike and muskellunge with even earthworms. I watched and asked many fishermen if they took something and they have not, but I rarely skunked. One thing that fishermen must do is keep their Live Bait. In warmer weather, but even in autumn, I always carry a small cooler with an ice pack inside. I take what I need and put them away. I kept the bait alive and well in the crisper of the refrigerator for more than four months. I reel at different rates as they like the motion and it depends also the speed of the water. I now live in New Jersey but spent many years fishing in the Great Lakes in Michigan and has taken many species. If you are fishing in the winter, do not freeze the bait, because they die immediately.
