need a new coil flounder?

I broke my penn 970 on a large radius and are in need of good news plaice coil. i mainly Bucktail for flounder, but also on Live Bait from time to time. I was thinking about getting a abu garcia 5500 or 6500 or Shimano Calcutta 700 and reel with 30 pounds braid. would be one such property or a coil is there a better reel for flounder is also the rod I built a 7'6 1/2-3oz. and mh

I hate to recommend the brands to people, but since I know you were here to answer questions and know what you do (the more you have already listed some possible coils so I know a bit about what you are looking for) I'll give you my opinion. The Abu you mentioned are good reels, I'll never own another cause of bad experiences but that does not make them bad. I would suggest looking into a series of coastal Diaw and Quantum reels. I love these 2 brands of reel.
