Low technical work for rainbow trout?

Is there any way that I could use the techniques of low bass and fight for trout bow? Would a platform cushioned with a Zoom Shakey head worms Magnum Force for rainbow trout in the shallow rivers? Or what about templates small Texas rigged lizards, or about the head with stand up shakey Jig Heads?
