What are good lures for pike really tough?
What are good lures for pike really tough? There are some really big pike the lake near my home and I have been able to catch two of them, a 28 incher that hit a gold spinner and a 19 inch who took my spinner bait. Since then, I've never been able to catch again they do not want the spinners, spinnerbaits, poppers, or spoons. It's frustrating and I'm just trying to find a good lure for walleye stubborn.
Where I'm from, we get Northern Pike. However, I took the chain pickerel, which are similar in their habits. Pike feed generally aggressive But they keep going after lures if they have had bad experiences with them, it's called the Pike Syndrome. It is therefore preferable to have a variety lures, bait stick, Soft Plastics, the Buck tails, Rapala split, it is a lure called a red eye that sometimes works when others do not. Cotton Cordell also many good lures. Do not forget the new Soft Plastic, they work very well. If all else fails go to your local bait shop and buy some small fish. Good luck.
